You heard it here first not too long ago, but now it’s a done deal. To help their tuned-out Latino media outreach machine do even less than it’s doing now, the Obamans are bringing on yet another non-Spanish speaker to their arsenal.
Here’s part of an email trumpeting the much-anticipated move:
Friends and Colleagues –
Beginning Monday July 7, I will be taking a temporary leave of absence from Senator Salazar’s office to join the Obama Campaign as Deputy Director for the Latino Vote Program.
No word on whether one of Stephanie Valencia’s parting gifts from Salazar’s office is the new edition of Español Sin Barreras, or the English version, Spanglish for Dummies.
