Romney has decided to more openly tout some anti-immigrant sentiment through ads in Iowa starting tomorrow! A funny thing happens when the polls get close:

In New Ad, Romney Critical of Huckabee on Illegal Immigration

Romney’s response ad features an announcer saying that the rivals are both “good family men” who are pro-life and “support a constitutional amendment protecting traditional marriage.” Then it shifts to a negative tone to explain “the difference” between the candidiates.

“Mitt Romney stood up and vetoed in-state tuition for illegal aliens. Opposed driver’s licenses for illegals,”(yeah because it’s better to have them drive without one) intones the announcer. “Mike Huckabee? Supported in-state tuition benefits for illegal immigrants. Huckabee even supported taxpayer-funded scholarships for illegal aliens. On immigration, the choice matters.” (OMG what a MONSTER! NOT tuition! Anything but tuition!)

Ah yes. It’s better when we build a border to keep our brown folk as far away from white people as humanly possible.
