Adventures of the Coconut Caucus

So a few respectable news organizations with nothing better to do on a holiday were following up on that story about that row between Coco Caucus chair Joe Baca and the Democratic leadership.

So they call Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, asking for Carlos Sánchez, former spokesman for the Coco Caucus and now Pelosi’s point person for the Latino press.

Talk about feeling invisible.

“There’s nobody here by that name,” the voice answered at Madame Speaker’s number.

“Oh, yes there is,” said one determined reporter. “You may not know him, but he is there.”

“No, really, there isn’t anybody here by that name,” the voice asserted.

Of course, it turns out there really is a Carlos Sánchez working for Pelosi, and I guess like the Coco Caucus itself, he too is ignored by the leadership staff.

Pobrecito.

So I wanted to ignore this topic, but it is turning out to be such a big deal, that it was one of the most viewed articles on yahoo news…

I am all in favor of Hugo Chávez shutting up, but for criticizing an idiot like José María Aznar? Please people.

AND who is the non-elected wanna be monarch figurehead of Juan Carlos to tell off an elected president?
AND furthermore why do they keep inviting Spain to those boring useless summits anyway? Is there any gold left to steal or something?

‘Shut Up & Go Home Commie Crackhead!’ Spanish Puppet Monarch Tells Chavez

Santiago, Chile - (Ibero-American Mess): Spain’s puppet monarch King Juan Carlos The Jackal threw a major wobbly today at the Ibero-American summit in Chile and ordered Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez to “shut the f##k up” before calling him a “commie crackhead”.

The slanging match erupted after a warm welcome address by Chilean hosts who announced the theme of this year’s summit was to be Social Cohesion.

Hugo Chavez then got up and called ex-Spanish Prime Mobster Jose Maria Aznar a “fascist little sh**e hiding behind a pathetic Hitler moustache”.

Aznar in turn defended his honor by lobbing a ripe papaya at the Venezuelan leader.
