Down south, way, way down south, there’s this whole issue of a first lady running for president who also happens to have been a senator.

Sound familiar? Well, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner tells our esteemed colleagues at CNN en Español that hey, don’t compare me to Hillary, she didn’t have a political life before she was first lady, and that Hillary is where she is now because of her husband, and that’s not the case with her down in Argentina because she was a somebody before she was first lady, bla bla bla bla bla bla.

First of all, she should be glad no one’s comparing her to Mexico’s former first lady, Marta Sagahún, a shameless self-promoter (check out her own damn likeness in the photo behind her own damn self) who was in charge of some foundation called “Vámonos de México,” or something like that.

Cristina

Yo soy Yo Martita

Second of all, it’s true, Cristina Fernández is no Hillary. Hillary as president would be the leader of the free world.

Her Argentine counterpart would be in charge of great Churrascos.

I rest my case…

AND La Bloguera adds:
Unlike Hillary, Martita, as Joe Baca, is 3 feet tall.

Soy de un metro y con tacones
