Cyborg Defends Our Favorite HousePANIC: Alberto GONEzales

Who needs friends in the Senate, when you can have the whole 4 branches of government incarnated in Cheney in your favor?

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Vice President Dick Cheney Tuesday dismissed congressional investigations into the firings of nine U.S. attorneys as “a bit of a witch hunt.”

Vice President Cheney says there are no allegations of wrongdoing in the firing of the U.S. attorneys.

“First of all, there’s no charge,” Cheney said. “What’s the allegation of wrongdoing here? Frankly, there isn’t any.”

“They keep rolling over rocks hoping they can find something, but there really hasn’t been anything come up that would suggest there was any wrongdoing of any kind,” Cheney told CNN’s Larry King, adding that he did not feel that Bush senior political adviser Karl Rove need testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the matter.

AND BTW, obviously Larry King Live is NOT live because we already have the transcript….

“I have a foot in both camps, if you will,” Cheney told CNN in an interview to air Tuesday night on “Larry King Live.”

and even in Spanish...

You can watch the non live at all clip before it airs on the “real” CNN here

Holy Cow! It’s the Tired Ole’ Race Card Again!

One of the advantages of fixing up an old house is that sometimes you get some interesting mail intended for the previous owners. Some so interesting you have to tell somebody, like when I got the latest issue of crap from some outfit called The Harvest Institute that blames the ills of the African-American community on Latinos.

This skreed from some place in a rising but still crappy part of D.C. says that Hispanic gains in elected offices are coming at the expense of our African-American brothers and sisters, and that many congressional district offices held by African Americans will move to Hispanic hands.

One particularly interesting sidebar in this racial rant said that, heavens to mergatroy! almost no Hispanic districts have growing Black populations, and that Blacks “keep losing.”

Divide and conquer. Isn’t that what the white man wants?

My, oh, my. Can we get along?

And I tell my African-American brothers and sisters, please, please, please move back into the neighborhood and take Baca back! (and Gonzáles while you are at it)

Joe Baca is 3 Feet Tall

So I was going to do a post about how our fearless leader Joe Baca is 3 feet tall, but instead I found that Baca is actually some biker association against child abuse, a cause, of course, we all support.
So more about the other BACA an organization which appears to actually be doing something constructive for Latino children….
AND here is their actual and very cool logo…

But anyway, back to my main point… Joe Baca IS 3 feet tall, and here he is standing on a couple of phone books, a no brainer way to be on top of his constituents (yes, a whatever his district is California, phone book )

Joe Baca and some blond ladies who we have no idea who they are

Better a Burro than an Undocumented
