turns out, charges against a real terrorist, Luis Posada Carriles.. who has actually blown up planes and bragged about it, are dropped,

because if you are Cuban with friends in Miami, and in the CIA, you can get away with anything…
oh yeah especially because of the fact that no “certified white people” died as a result…

GONEzales accepts responsibility…but he doesn´t remember for what…

I just can`t recall either, so why are we even talking about him?

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Tuesday that he accepted responsibility for his role in the firings of eight federal prosecutors.

Some congressional lawmakers — who charge the Justice Department put politics ahead of performance in the dismissals — have called for Gonzales’ resignation. He has conceded mistakes in how the firings were handled, but has refused to resign over the incident.

“I’ve already said a lot about this issue,” Gonzales said during an appearance outside Detroit. “Clearly I accept full responsibility for the mistakes I made here. I thought we had a process that didn’t turn out to be the process I thought.”

I know he has an upcoming breakfast at the National Press Club so I guess he can´t resign until after that…

Ok, so maybe he is not a Hispanic or a Journalist, but he IS a LIFETIME member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and not only that… he donated 5 thousand dollars!!!!!

As you know these days anybody can be a Hispanic, or in Dobbs case, married to one, and anyone can be a Hispanic blogger (or a HisPANIC blogger in our case) but an old media journalist? hmmm I think there a few hoops for that one.

Then again, we all know you don´t have to be a journalist to be a member of NAHJ.

AND before you get all bent out of shape over this, let me point out that Dobbs probably has more Hispanic diversity on his show than any other program on CNN.

Where else can you see tons of Mexicans crossing the broken borders with B-roll from the 70’s, prominent Hispanic “activists” being crushed by Dobbs and unable to argue with him (unlike Colbert, and my favorite Colbert with Dobbs), plus the occasional Hispanic minuteman?

He also regularly invites Univision diva Jorge Ramos, who always succeeds in embarrassing us further. BESIDES, Geraldo Rivera is also a member of NAHJ (need I say more?)

Now we just need to find out if they are going to start using the word “illegal illegals” at NAHJ events…

I know you are all dying to know which 3 or so Hispanics got invited to the WHITE tie event at the White House, because we love royalty and anything with the word white in it.

So here goes, the Latino angle, (btw, Hispanics like Al Gone-zales are good enough for Cinco de Mayo events, but not good enough for the Queen).

First, Laura Bush was wearing a gown created by Dominican immigrant Oscar de la Renta, with a much mentioned “matador” jacket. (it a boring pale blue)

Speaking of wives…

Ms. Marta Domingo, Mexican wife of Plácido Domingo, attended sans Plácido. (and btw, as a nice, dutiful Mexican wife, she left her career to nurture his and raise 2 sons, la mujer ideal)

We also saw this guy…

Jerrold Perenchio, who “technically” is not Latino, but making millions off of Univision, qualifies him for our purposes.

And more people with Hispanic surnames but for all we know they could be Filipino…

So there you go, as far as we know no one embarrassed us by saying mi reinita to Ms. Elizabeth queen lady or asking where the real reina was i.e. Zueleyka Rivera

There were other Latinos there, but only invited for the pre and after dinner “entertainment” zzz.
