Move Over Gore, We Got Our Own Global Warming Doomsday Scenario

I love it when I get messages that say: For Immediate Release…, especially when they are about old news…

Does Grijalva think he is going to get a documentary of himself by holding a roundtable on Holy Friday? And especially in Arizona, where we know all latinos will be in some kind of church procession or crucifixion reenactment…(Or if you are on the Mexican side of the border you have a few day off in which you can cross over and take advantage of the shopping specials at the Walmart in Douglas)But hey, he does mention the U.N…..

Newt Gingrich Has a Ghetto Blog

I tried to avoid commenting on this topic, but I know that dozens of my readers need to hear my 2 centavos on the issue.

As reported by everybody who is anybody, like this blog, el señor Newt Gingrich has made some comments regarding “the ghetto” which we can only assume he has never visited, but only seen on TV in WWII movies or some documentary from the 60’s.

So first of all Sr. Gingrich you meant to say “barrio” and not “ghetto”.

Second, if you are sooooo against Spanish why did you take classes en Español when you were in Congress?

Third, Why do you have a ghetto language on you own internets page? (and just in case you were wondering, according to his bio in Spanish, Newt is an architect and of course he has an award from one of our many coconut associations)
Forth, you may call it ghetto but that can only mean that ghetto is spoken at the White House, Commerce Department and in third would country Miami.

Fifth, the only way to make up for this “faux pas” (BTW that is French which we assume you also hate) is for you to sing on the follow up CD of the national anthem in Spanish.

Sixth, there is no better way to advance education in this globalized economy than to make sure you are MONOLINGUAL, so you can loose your job to an Indian or Chinese or Mexican who speaks English and a few other languages.
AND finally, your rival in ghetto campaigning has waaaaay more money than you…
