Democrats are urged to address immigration

A comprehensive immigration overhaul and temporary protected status for Haitians should be government priorities, two Republican congressmen from Miami urged.

”We’re concerned because the Democrats . . . have given no signs of giving any importance or priority to immigration,” said U.S. Rep. Lincoln Díaz-Balart, a Miami Republican. “It’s time for the Democratic leadership to put up or shut up.”

Now, usually they would be joined in this effort by a bunch of Hispanic Democrats… but we all know what they have been up to lately.

Josefina por favor, I have a real job and can’t spend all day updating this blog based on breaking news and exclusive messages you send to other blogs while on a business trip.

Anyway, so we are glad to find out that the Taco Bell dog coughed up Josefina’s Blackberry, or that at least she found some series of tubes to send this reply:

”How are u (sic) able to post after you’ve read those two nov (sic) stories in their entirety with their dates? Or bearing in mind the resignation aspect of the more current story.”

(Sorry querida, no entiendo, but I do know that nobody reads anything in its entirety, especially other people’s articles which they already wrote themselves.)

AND now mediabistro has chimed in on the subject, ignoring the fact that THIS HERE HISPANIC BLOG had the exclusive non-binding story many more hours ago.

FishbowlDC also ignores the fact that this whole issue would not have started if Miss Josefina had not felt so insecure about her so-called non-binding ultra-exclusive story, that she felt lead to send us “all” an email insisting she invented the Coconut Caucus.

AND Finally: Need I remind everybody again about the press release?

We have already dedicated way too much time to Loretta and Joe, especially considering that Richardson López is running for presidente, and Mel Martínez is still very very busy dividing the republicans.

But due to the magnitude of our being discovered, we have been forced to update.

Apparently, after Miss Josefina of the Politico.com exclusively discovered the Hispanic Caucus, her blackberry was eaten by the Taco Bell dog and she sailed off to discover other peoples.

Here is the paragraph we solely and exclusively stole from another blog.

[Josefina] Hearn has told BHDC that she cannot provide details on the alleged omissions because she doesn’t have them on her Blackberry. “I’m leaving for a business trip,” she reports. She promises to provide details after she returns.

Wow a business trip to somewhere with no email…So we are naming Miss Josefina an honorary Orgullo Hispano.
