So after all the swearing ins and fiestas of the first week back, we were all excited and looking forward to a new era in which the CHC will lead the charge for opportunity, equality, and prosperity for Hispanic Americans, which is what they will be doing according Pelosi…

So it was much to our horror, when seeking guidance from the fearless new leader of the Caucus, Joe Baca we instead found this:

You may not realize the gravity of this situation…. Not only is Joe Baca without a website, the Hispanic Caucus, which is traditionally hosted by the leader, is also offline… and other than us, probably about 5 people have noticed.

Why stick to boring pretend swearing in ceremonies, when you can be judging men in underwear at a gay club?

Just ask Linda Sánchez who hung out at Cobalt 30 degrees the night of the democratic we-are-back gleefest.

Once there, she became an inside-the-beltway-only-celebrety judge for The Battle of the Briefs contest.

According to Roll Call:

While Rep. Linda Sánchez (D-Calif.) played no formal role in the new Speaker’s inaugural festivities Thursday, she did play a key after-hours role at the gay bar Cobalt, where she wound up judging a “best package contest.”

Four contestants undressed behind a backlit white curtain on stage, then paraded around in their socks and skivvies - three in patterned tighty-whities the other, and the winner as it turned out, in boxer-briefs.

Move over Loretta, not even with your racy xmas cards can you beat Linda.

Newly crowned Nancy Pelosi, spent enough seconds at the Caucus pretend swearing in to get this nice picture taken with her “ex-assistant” now Senator, Robert Menéndez.

And even though they can’t stand each other, they can make a nice for a photo op.
