We put the PANIC in Hispanic

Mujeres Revolt Against Joe Machista Baca

As we mentioned last year, there is a surge in factional fighting inside our favorite caucus, and apparently it may escalate to an all out civil war and we may end up with 3 instead of 2 groups of Hispanic legislators trying to help us “advance”. (One more caucus to get Tom Tancredo upset)

It seems like Loretta Sánchez is still mad a Joe Baca for calling her a woman with the oldest profession, and along with amigas Solís and Velázquez, is challenging his election, despite the fact that it wasn´t done through electronic voting.

Apparently there is some furious letter writing going on. We will keep you posted.

And by the way, there are like 43 black legislators and they have one Black Caucus, but with like 23 legislators we need at least 3 or 4.

Reyes Is Sure About His New Nonbinding Opinion

Our favorite intel chief ex border patrol caucus member, Silvestre Reyes, just returned from Pelosi’s trip to Iraq, in which he was relegated to carrying her luggage.

Apparently, following Pelosi around lead him to conclude that the original nonbinding opinion which he had about troop increase in Iraq, which he changed, but then changed back to, is the correct nonbinding opinion that he has now, again.

Reyes, el panzón de en medio (AP)

More about his surge vs no surge opinion here (this was before the trip).

Now after the trip, he has reiterated that his original nonbinding opinion is the true one. (confused yet?)

We can only hope that he took advantage of his trip to the scene of the crime, to learn the difference between Al Qaeda and Hezbollah.

Next, he should learn how to use fonts. (scroll down, no need to read anything there)

Hey Miami: I Am Not Dead!!!!

Did someone say there was a party at the Orange Bowl?

So here it is, a new video of Fidel Castro, ALIVE

Castro and Chávez on TV Jan 2007

Of course in the video he appears with BMF Hugo Chávez and some super corny background music.

(I will post the actual real video as soon as someone does us the favor and uploads it on you tube, but for now you can watch it on Telesur from Venezuela

Iraq Surge Latino Style

I don’t understand why this isn’t getting much attention in the press, it could really make a HUGE difference in Iraq.

(As usual the evil mainstream corporate media acts as if we don’t exist until someone forms a gang).

SAN JUAN OPICO, El Salvador: President Tony Saca on Monday praised the country’s eighth troop contingent (of 380 troops) as it heads to Iraq for a six-month, noncombat mission.

Saca is a strong ally of the United States, and El Salvador is currently the only Latin American country with troops in Iraq. Newly appointed U.S. Ambassador Charles Glazer, who starts a three-year term Friday, attended the ceremony but did not speak.

(The rest of the short article stresses that they are on a humanitarian with machine guns mission and that it has nothing at all to do with TPS)

We Have An Agenda, Yipee!!!!

It seems like dog years ago we launched the First 100 Hours of Primer Impacto Agenda for the Coconut Caucus, but now finally we have the official nonbinding agenda from our fearless machista leader Joe Baca.

I know this will come as a shock and awe surprise, but it includes immigration. And don’t worry it is very short.

Here it is!!!

(Notable mention: we find out he has lost “10 kids in Iraq”, and I guess being almost 40 is a kid)
