So just when you thought everyone was on vacation, turns out the Hispanic Caucus is still in session sending interesting press releases, and then corrections of those press releases.
Don’t worry, you aren’t missing any real news, it is basically your standard fare of congratulations to themselves and Nancy Pelosi for the fact that Hispanic democrats have been automatically promoted in the committees once controlled by republicans.
Except that in one of these press releases they “forget” to mention our favorite new appointee Silvestre Reyes, despite the fact that he has the highest profile new job.
But not to worry, Reyes has his own press release to congratulate himself, (Only those on minor committees need a Hispanic Caucus press release)

Washington, DC – Today, Speaker-Elect Nancy Pelosi with the nomination of Rep. Becerra to be Assistant to the Speaker, has now nominated three Congressional Hispanic Caucus members to lead committees and senior leadership posts.
