Adventures of the Coconut Caucus

A short but intense category, you know them already: Cuban Democrat Bob Menéndez, Cuban Republican Mel Martínez and wanna be republican ex potato farmer Ken Salazar.

What? Another blog…. Who needs it? But wait….this is the first blog dedicated to the adventures of the illustrious members of the Hispanic Caucus and other random Latino topics, and is long overdue in my opinion.

I totally meant to launch the blog during the height of Hispanic Heritage Month, when the Hispanic members of Congress are busy, busy, busy with a multitude of activities, heritage promotion events and galas. But alas, I got distracted and until I find someone to pay me to blog my time away I can’t promise any kind of timeliness. (Maybe I can get a grant from La Raza).

Then again, what better time to inaugurate this than during a lame-pato session of Congress.

Anyway here goes nothing.
