Time for the Latino angle on the first presidential debate:
- John McCain is Panamanian
- No one should ever meet Hugo Chávez (but we should buy his crude, just don´t tell anyone)
- Latin America still the backyard and not considered foreign policy. Yes my friends, TOTALLY IRRELEVANT
- There is a town in Mississippi called Oxford?????? (not a “Latino” angle, but who knew?)
oxford was actually named after the british university in order to get the state university to open there (which it did) instead of some town with the word “pulled pork” in it.
It attracts a lot of writers, like william faulkner and james grisham, and or course at one point, a whole lot of racists.
Cool!, next time there is a presidential debate there I will make sure not to miss it in person
