Brown Man Begs Hopes Black Man Will Not Indict

By La bloguera, January 27, 2009 8:16 am

One of our favorite Hispanics, you know, the Mexican who lost his job to a white guy, has apparently recovered from his squash injury and is now hoping for some change he can believe in…

Alberto Gonzales: I Don’t Think Obama AG Will Prosecute Me

In his confirmation hearing Eric Holder, President Obama’s nominee for Attorney General, declared definitively that “waterboarding is torture.”

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, in an interview with National Public Radio’s “Tell Me More” Monday, said he was worried that “making a blanket pronouncement like that” might have a negative “effect … on the morale and the dedication of intelligence officials and lawyers throughout the administration.” (Gonzales probably knows something about bad morale at the Justice Department.)

Gonzales isn’t worried, however, about himself. While some have suggested that Holder’s statement paved the way for prosecution of administration officials who participated in torture, the ex-AG says it isn’t likely. More here

Of course since this interview was on NPR, nobody heard it anyway.

But his best interview so far was with another of our favorite Hispanics, Geraldo Rivera, except that Alberto GONEzales didn’t show up because of aforementioned whack in the eye.

Meanwhile… in other news…

Mariachi politics: LITERALLY

By La bloguera, July 13, 2008 10:27 pm

There is pandering, we have seen that for a whole week now, with Obama and McCain showing up at the conventions of Latino organizations that don’t do anything other than conventions, and a gala here and there so they can give awards to people such as Alberto GONEzales.

AND then there is Mariachi politics, specifically Jalisco no te rajes, mariachi politics, by way of Senator Ted Kennedy…

GONEzales is Literally Pobrecito (The Only Mexican who can’t get a job in the U.S.)

By La Neta, April 13, 2008 12:14 am

We’ve been so busy getting all hot and bothered over a possible recession/depression, high gas prices, paying an arm and a leg for milk and eggs, not getting a flight, etc., etc., that we’ve totally forgotten about our favorite brown noser, our very own Alberto “Panchito” GONEzales.

Remember him? The one who performed so stellarly as our nation’s first dumbass beaner Latin attorney general? Thankfully, God intervened before that dumbass beaner guy could become the first dumbass beaner mexicano on the Supreme Court.

Bad enough greenlighting torture at Gitmo, but imagine torturing the entire country for the rest of his natural life on the high court. Lordy, lordy!

Anyhoo, turns out the dumbass beaner’s been having a hardass time finding a job since being chased out of town like Frankenstein last summer. Rumor is he’s rubbing two nickels together and scrapping by with speeches at the few colleges and associations that pay him to come and talk because they apparently live under a rock and have never heard of him.

Panchito speaks at the University of Florida. While officials at the well-known party school were busy drinking when they invited him, several students weren’t, and they showed up in their best detainee regalia to welcome him on campus.
Pobrecito Panchito, Pobrecito

Who knew we would have our own Third Rail Latino? Unwanted and dangerous to the touch? It’s exciting!

SOTU 08: Two Token Hispanics Will Sit Somewhere Near Laura Bush

By La bloguera, January 28, 2008 11:46 am

The list is out, a grand total of 2 token Hispanics have been invited to sit somewhere in the Capitol close to Laura Bush and may be on camera for half a second.

Apparently, Alberto GONEzales is busy trying to give speeches and was unavailable… BUT not to worry, we have you usual Cuban relative of political prisoner:

Blanca González, Mother of Cuban Political Prisoner; ( Miami Florida) Blanca González is the mother of Normando Hernández González, a political prisoner suffering under the regime of Fidel and Raul Castro. (A two headed dictator…Is this the new official U.S. view?)

AND Alma Morales Riojas of MANA, who just like Joe Baca is 3 feet tall.

Laura and 3 feet tall Latina

Now I also noticed on the list Continue reading 'SOTU 08: Two Token Hispanics Will Sit Somewhere Near Laura Bush'»
