Brown Guy Calls It Like It Is
Every once in a while, a post comes along that needs very few words. Here’s one from editorial cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz, a friggin’ genius who rightly calls what’s happening in Arizona as nothing more than pure Nazism.

Here we go again. Latinos, famously asleep at the wheel on an important issue like that Nazi nefarious Arizona immigration bill:

react too late to do anything except complain and express outrage. Yeah, whatever.

So of course, it’s up to the black man to step up to the plate.

Enter the Rev. Al Sharpton, who says he is going to Arizona when that crap law goes into effect and challenge the police to try to arrest anyone to refuses to hand over their papiere.
“We’re going to walk the streets with people who refuse to give identification and force arrest,” he says.
You know, just like the brown groups are doing (NOT!!!). They’re obviously way too busy planning the next gala du jour.
So thank goodness the good Rev has nothing better to do than defend a bunch of brown ingrates.
There’s this terrible new legislation out west in Arizona that basically says the police can ask anyone for papiere to prove their immigration status. Which means anyone who “looks” illegal will get stopped and kicked out. Aryans need not worry.
Just like Nazi Germany!

So, let’s see. There’s this new bill that had to go through all kinds of stages to get to where it is now.
Stage one: some legislator introduces it. What were the immigration rights groups doing when that happened?

Stage two: the legislators debate it. What were the immigration rights groups doing when that happened?

Stage three: legislators vote on it and pass it. What were the immigrant rights groups doing when that happened?

Now, suddenly, AFTER IT’S ALL OVER, AFTER IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE, the groups wake up and talk about planning a vigil at the governor’s mansion, hoping she’ll veto it.
Because of course that’s always the best course of action!
It’s a great day in the vecindario when the President manages to wake up the bananeros and start a heated discussion.

Because clearly there’s nothing else going on.

The controversy revolves around Obama attending a fundraiser in Miami. If you think the tea baggers hate the prez, you haven’t been to Calle Ocho, the heart of the hardline babaloos in formerly genteel Miami.

And the best part of this brouhaha is that the ire is directed at cubanos Emilio & Gloria Estefan, themselves quite the blowhards in the past. The pair is hosting a $30,400 per couple private fundraiser at their home for the president and the Democrats.

The hardliners are saying “ay dios mío mi’jos, how could you help out the Democrats?! The Democrats LOVE Fidel!” Ya sabes, typical babaloo nonsense.

Check out the picture below with what is rumored to be a note from the first lady herself!

Hey, smoke ‘em if you got ‘em!

A different kind of storm swept through Capitol Hill today when Rep. Lincoln Díaz-Balart (R-Fla.) announced he was not going to run for reelection, retiring instead to go make beaucoup bucks as a lawyer in Miami.

We have been scratching our heads trying to remember if there is ANYTHING the Cuban-American legislator has done besides loud, bilingual and constant tirades against Fidel Castro. Can’t think of anything.
Anyhoo, his severely underserved constituents need not worry about having to change any embroidered napkins, at least not the last names. Little bro Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart, who almost got his a** whipped by a Democrat in the last congressional election, is jumping over to Lincoln’s more Republican-friendly district, to continue his job of non-stop constant tirades against Castro (oh, and a couple of hurricane preparedness pressers) without having to worry about a challenge from someone who actually wants to do something in Congress.

Oh, and get this…why didn’t this Spanish-language network cover this at all?

Hopefully it’s not because the anchor is another Díaz-Balart, baby bro José, because that would be pretty stooopid!!
