Case in point is the Virginia race for governor, with the wishy-washy Democrat Creigh Deeds running way behind the ultra-conservative right-wing zealot Bob McDonnell.
Leave it up to the Democrats to fail to take advantage of the Obamanation mania that gripped that state last year (Virginia voted DEMOCRAT for the first time since 1964), but an even more egregious thing is seeing the brown people support someone who really absolutely positively no question about it HATES brown people, especially immigrant brown people.

Two points:
1. I’m getting a little sick of the “beaner” shtick. Cute a few times, but eventually tiresome, especially for those of Hispanic origins that have nothing to do with beans. We do exist.
2. It might be more useful, instead of calling attention to a nobody with an alleged pretty face, to call attention to the immigrant groups forming in Northern Virginia, where anti-immigrant hatred is virulent. One I heard about on the radio this morning is called Mexicans Without Borders, a title with a humor you might appreciate.

The point you missed, and the one I really wish you would pay attention to, is that instead of knocking NCLR (the way you do in you in your next post), is that you should focus on the emergence of better groups. Yes, we all know that the old caciques are opportunists without a thought in their head. So move on and laugh at them by focusing on change that outpaces them.

Anti-immigrant hatred is virulent in Northern Virginia?
Based on your comment it would appear that anti – Northern Virginian hatred is running rampant in NOVA’s Hispanic Community. Have you checked the immigration policies and enforcment of the countries from which Hispanic people are immigrating to Northern Virginia? They make the atmosphere for immigrants in Virginia and the United States seem down right welcoming.
Figures you would also support NCLR, I hear more Hispanics complain about NCLR than about racism in Northern Virginia.
